This is one of those rare opportunities to help save the world by taking a yoga or pilates class and drinking beer. Join Thrive Pilates & Movement Studio and Crane Brewing in supporting Water.org with a series of pilates and yoga classes inspired by the unique and flavorful brews of Crane Brewing. All proceeds from this series will be donated to Water.org.
Without water there is no beer. While beer is a very wonderful thing, water is just a bit more important in sustaining life. Imagine if you had to walk miles for a glass of water. This is the reality for millions of women and children. Collectively, women and children spend 125 million hours every day walking and collecting water for domestic use. When women and children gain access to water they are healthier and have more time for education, work and raising their families. Access to safe water can change a person’s world, and allow them to define their own future. For every $25 that we raise, Water.org can give someone access to safe water for life. Co-founded by Matt Damon and Gary White, Water.org has been helping people develop sustainable solutions for more than 25 years and their headquarters are right here in Kansas City. Together, we can change lives with safe water.
Classes will be held at Crane Brewing – 6515 Railroad St Raytown, MO 64133. Classes are $15 in advance and $20 at the door. Check in starts at 9:30. Classes are one hour and start at 10:00 followed by beer tasting from Crane Brewing. Must be 21 or older. Please BYOMat, water, and your ID. To preregister, click here to go to our eventbrite site.

A juicy and delicate beer deserves an equally delicious pilates class. This class will utilize lengthening movements to help build flexibility and suppleness.
